I‘m a photographer, and content publisher by trade, but everyone should have a good hobby. My more notable ones include Square Dance calling and ventriloquism. I’m told I’m quite good at both and I’ve had the pleasure of performing alongside some of the biggest names in square dancing.
I started calling square dance when I was seventeen. Around the same time I was also learning Ventriloquism and I now implement that into my my dances and have become best known as The Ventriloquist Caller. I don’t call every tip as a ventriloquist, but it’s a fun trademark.
I teach and call dances for public events, & private parties, as well as full dances for square dance clubs. Square dancing is a great family activity and I try hard to put on a dance that is fun for any age. I enjoy making a dance fun. No matter what the experience level of your group I’ll get you dancing and having a good time.
A square dance with me is the same basic format as a traditional square dance, though much more lively. The ventriloquism is my calling trademark. I know of no other caller who does it. Since too much of anything would be tiring however, every call is not a ventriloquist show, Usually I pick out one or two friends to call with me a few times during an evening and the rest of the time I’ll keep you moving with energy, vocal talent and fun.
