  • Baby Photography: Cyrus & Grace

Today I did a bunch of baby and children’s photography. No their not twins, just cousins a few weeks apart. These adorable little infants are my son Cyrus & niece Grace.

If you have babies or children contact me to see about booking a session. Spring is getting close, and with a lot of great portrait opportunities coming up I’m working on planning great sessions for infants and toddlers too!

All these were in studio. I also did some today outside capturing the activity of a little boy, but he’s older so it’s a bit more flexible. Say tine for those shots soon.

  • Baby & Childrens Photography

That spring time of year is coming, and I find myself working on new ideas for this years photography.

I‘m working on ideas for my babies & children 2008 sessions, and hope to make up some special promotional materials for mothers & families in the Ephrata, Moses Lake, Wenatchee areas.

I‘ve been thinking about sets that could be used, and methods of adding my unique style to the collections in a way that’s anything but plain or ordinary. I’m also liking the idea of planning some on location sessions where we come to you and make priceless baby images.

If you want to learn more about custom baby images just contact me.

  • Cyrus Fredrick Seim

    – 8hrs old
seim-baby-1Well he’s here. Yep HE! Things went great during the delivery (for Sondra anyways, I was a bit stressed) He was born around 2AM on the 3rd.

It was after the delivery that things went downhill fast. She lost a lot of blood pressure and started passing out. They me in called to help. I was working to stay calm on the outside, but I was so scared, and was praying so hard.

The way the midwife was responding, I thought we were losing her! It may not have been as bad as it seemed to me, but the midwife sent for an ambulance, and they took her from to birth center to the hospital. She was more stable by the time we were in the ER but she still couldn’t stand up, as her heart rate would go way up, her blood pressure way down, and she would get really dizzy so they decided to admit her.

  • Bride on the beach

Here is another one of my favorites from Sondra on the beach last night. Many of the shoots on this trip have been exploring HDR, and this is no exception. The beach was really beautiful last night with all the dramatic clouds, and the bride standing barefoot in the sand finished the scene perfectly.

  • Another Amazing Wedding

So I had an incredible wedding a few weeks back. It went so good, and I’m so excited because it seems to be running this way. Nearly every wedding I shoot comes out more beautiful than the one before it. Really good editing takes a ton of time, but I get more efficient at it consistently.
I have the highlights slideshow online, so if you like you can check it out here.
Julia & Ky did so well, and had such a good time at their wedding!
    Here’s a few of my favorite shots…

I love these dress shots. There just give the total feel of getting ready. My Aunt Beth actually is the one who sayed I needed to get more of these, and she was right. The little girl in the middle was so fun and active. I got lots of good shots from her. And as always I love these color mixed with b+w shots.

Just as the sun was setting I rushed the Julia & Ky away from the party and stood then on the hill overlooking Moses Lake. I t payed off with some neat silhouette shots.

This one on the right is of Julia’s dad. He jumped right in & danced the night away. It works so well to document the real happenings by freezing those silly and fun moments.
I may try to post some more about this wedding soon. Right on Jules Ty & all your families… You did great.
