The cliffs along Banks Lake headed towards Grand Coulee get some amazing frozen waterfalls this time of year. On my escapades recently, I came across Jay and Brian, two climbers from the west side of the State, come over to brave the cold weather and get some climbing in. Here’s a few shots I took of them taking on these neat looking ice falls.
You know that criss-crossing of Summer and Autumn where the sprinklers are still going, but the cold comes in the night causing those dazzling drops of water to freeze in everything in reach. I’ve always thought that was so cool.
Anyways on a recent early moring trip to Ellensburg for a senior sesion I was out killing time before the session. This wheel line and the cool stuff in the background made for a neat viw.
